Location: Monroe, NY Pay: $19.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday | 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (30 hours/week) Full-Time What You'll Do As a Residential Counselor, you'll provide compassionate support to individuals in a residential setting by: • Assisting residents with daily routines, including personal care, meals, household tasks, recreation, and appointments. • Providing supervision and support for up to 12 residents. • Administering medications and maintaining medication certification. • Supporting residents with medical appointments and transportation (must be able to drive a large van). • Helping residents develop independence through life skills, meal planning, cooking, and household responsibilities. • Maintaining documentation, progress notes, and individualized service plans. • Leading resident meetings, encouraging engagement, and fostering a positive living environment. • Responding to emergencies and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. • Collaborating with families, healthcare providers, and other members of the support team. • Performing additional duties as assigned by your supervisor. What We're Looking For Qualified candidates will have one of the following: • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field with relevant experience. • Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of related experience. • Associate degree with at least 2 years of related experience. • At least 4 years of experience working with a similar population.
