Producer/Production Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and pragmatic Event Producer or Production Manager to help deliver our portfolio of original events at Fever. This person will serve as the point of contact on the production side of all assigned projects, being responsible for the third parties involved in the execution, development, and production of the creative deliverables. This role requires flexibility, technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while staying within budget. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in live event production, experiential marketing and/or construction of permanent installations.

Candidates should be passionate about delivering quality results and producing fun and entertaining experiences for all walks of the public. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, problem solving and communication skills are critical to success in this role. The right candidate will be a self-starter and have strong interpersonal and project management skills. Employees are expected to be in the office Monday to Thursday with possibility to work from home on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of event productions, including pre-production, logistics, supplier selection, hiring, onsite execution, as well as post-event wrap-up
  • Support the wider Fever Originals team in the development of new events, implementing new production formats and ensuring Fever remains up to date, and ahead of the curve, on emerging technologies and solutions that can enhance Fever’s experiences.
  • Create production budgets and timelines and ensure that projects are keeping to budget and to schedule
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive alignment and execution of event deliverables
  • Represent production in project ideation, development and negotiations with venues, suppliers and internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage multiple productions and help scale various Fever Original IPs against team targets
  • Source and secure venues and required licenses, permits and meet insurance requirements
  • Health and safety planning, creation of risk assessments and method statements
  • Handle administrative duties including expense reports, invoicing, and working with the legal department on contracts
  • Domestic and international travel and work across time zones may be required

About You:

  • 3+ years experience in event production or fabrication and construction of event experiences
  • You have a successful track record in production management of live events with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and pride yourself on your flexible, detailed, analytical mindset.
  • You have technical knowledge, operational experience and an ability to think from a business perspective.
  • Candidates need to be passionate about the entertainment/events industry.
  • You will have to be comfortable delivering results in an ambiguous environment and being detail-oriented while looking around corners.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects coordinate effectively to deliver in an organised, structured and efficient way
  • Have a strong understanding of technical production requirements and basic understanding of fabrication techniques
  • AutoCad, SketchUp or other design software knowledge is a bonus
  • Have an innovative and solution-focused mindset to find creative solutions to make events happen in complex scenarios
  • Have a strong network of suppliers and venues with experience in negotiation,, contracting and ensuring processes are compliant
  • Able to communicate with partners, brands, agencies,, working collaboratively and willing to be on site and hands-on building and delivering live events and permanent builds
  • Experience in outdoor events or large-scale events is a plus
