Job Title Technical Support Technician (Office-Based) Location: Baynards Green, near Bicester About the Role We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Technical Support Technician to join our team at our offices in Baynards Green, near Bicester. This is an office-based role supporting customers and carrying out calibration and testing of equipment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our products and services meet quality and compliance standards while providing friendly, effective technical support. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical support to customers via phone and email • Book in/out equipment and manage job tracking through internal systems • Prepare equipment for return to customers (labelling, packaging, documentation) • Assist with stock control, parts management, and basic workshop organisation • Support quality processes and compliance with relevant standards (e.g. ISO 13485 / ISO 17025, if applicable) • Liaise with engineers, sales, and admin teams to resolve customer queries • Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a tidy working environment Skills & Experience Essential: • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work • Basic technical aptitude (electronics, mechanical, or instrumentation experience is a plus) • Confident using computers and MS Office/Excel • Clear communication skills and a customer-focused attitude • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Desirable: • Previous experience in testing, technical support, or a similar technical role • Familiarity with quality systems or calibration standards • Experience working in an office/workshop environment What We Offer • Friendly, supportive team environment • On-the-job training and development • Free on-site parking • Opportunity to grow technical skills within a specialist field
