EEG Technologist, Field Technologist - Minneapolis

POSITION SUMMARY The Field EEG Technologist/Technician position is an In-Home Ambulatory position requiring daily travel to the homes of the patients we serve. This general posting covers multiple career tiers, ranging from entry-level technicians to board-registered (R. EEG T.) senior technologists. Final title, compensation, and clinical scope will be completely Dependent on Experience (DOE). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Set up in-home ambulatory EEG procedures, ensuring accurate electrode application adhering to the International 10–20 System. Assess patient needs, manage setups/disconnects, change batteries, and handle data uploads into the secure system database. Recognize clinically significant events and follow critical test result policies for immediate data escalation. Identify, troubleshoot, and eliminate technical recording artifacts and equipment issues independently in the field. Communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and staff to convey the purpose of the EEG and answer questions.
