📌 About the Role Join Equiem as our Product Designer and help shape the future of building and portfolio insights for asset managers. You'll wear two hats: be the embedded designer for one squad AND drive design excellence across our entire product organisation. 💼 What You'll DoAs Squad Designer (60% of time): Lead end-to-end UX Work closely with PM and engineers from discovery through delivery Turn complex data into intuitive, usable interfaces Run user research and synthesise findings Conduct usability testing and iterate based on real user feedback As Design Practice Lead (40% of time): Build and scale an AI-native design practice that enables teams across the organisation to self-serve design, prototyping and validation, while maintaining a high bar for user experience, accessibility and product quality. 🎯 What We're Looking ForEssential: 5+ years of product design experience (web & mobile) Proven experience designing data products, dashboards, or analytics Working fluency with AI tools (not just familiarity!) Strong Figma skills including design systems SaaS product design experience Ability to operate independently in a part-time, distributed context Nice to have: PropTech or commercial real estate knowledge Design systems or enablement experience Background working across multiple product squads 📋 The Details📍 Location: Melbourne, Australia ⏰ Hours: Part-time, approximately 3 days per week 👥 Reports to: Chief Product & Technology Officer 💡 Why Join Equiem?
