POSITION OVERVIEW The Greenkeeper I performs routine manual labor under the direction of the Superintendent or Foreman to support golf course and desert landscape maintenance. Responsibilities include trimming, raking, weeding, and operating small hand-powered equipment to ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained grounds. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Operate hedge trimmers, loppers, hand pruners, hula hoes, and other small tools for desert landscape maintenance. Perform pruning, weeding, raking, and related manual labor tasks. Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas. Must be able to withstand repetitive motions and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Safety – Follow all safe work practices and attend required Cal/OSHA safety training. Perform other duties as assigned.
