Quality Control Technician

Position Overview:

Solid Power is seeking a ​ day shift electrolyte Quality Control Technician ​ to join our talented team of engineers and scientists working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next‐generation , all solid‐state rechargeable batteries. Solid Power is a dynamic, fast‐paced, collaborative and innovative team environment. The preferred candidate will be a ​ skilled chemical technician, with interest and comfort in conducting hands-on testing and experimentation. This role will work in a laboratory environment, with the primary responsibility being the efficient and accurate chemical, physical and mechanical analysis of solid-state battery electrolytes.

Job Duties:

• Follow and document standard sample preparation testing procedures under the guidance of senior technicians and scientists.
• Assist in more specialized sample preparation and testing, both at Solid Power and in partnership with Solid Power’s contractors and partners.
• Maintain test equipment in clean and proper working conditions, and support manufacturer maintenance and repair as needed. <span data-ccp-charstyle="eo
