One weekend day per week preferred. • Small memory care community where you can truly know your residents • Supportive leadership team that values creativity and innovation • Opportunity to make a lasting impact on residents, families, and your team Location Iris Memory Care of Turtle Creek 3611 Dickason Avenue Dallas, TX 75219 Conveniently located off I35E near Oaklawn Position Overview The Life Enrichment Director oversees all aspects of the community's Life Enrichment department, ensuring residents experience meaningful opportunities for social engagement, cognitive stimulation, physical activity, creativity, and emotional well-being. This leadership role is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive activities program while supervising the Life Enrichment team, managing departmental resources, coordinating volunteers, collaborating with other department leaders, and ensuring compliance with state requirements for memory care programming. This is a full-time salaried leadership position requiring flexibility to support occasional evenings, weekends, and community events. What You'll Do Leadership & Team Management • Lead, coach, mentor, and support the Life Enrichment team • Recruit, onboard, schedule, and develop staff and volunteers • Train team members • Partner with leadership Resident Programming • Design and implement comprehensive programming • Tailor activities to resident interests and abilities • Coordinate outings, entertainment, and celebrations Department Oversight • Publish monthly calendars and newsletters • Manage budget and purchasing • Maintain inventory and documentation • Ensure regulatory compliance Resident & Family Engagement • Build meaningful relationships • Educate families • Gather feedback Collaboration • Work with all departments • Support community events
