CLOSING DATE: Open Until filled with Bi-weekly reviews POSITION: Special Education Teacher (3 positions) SALARY: $53,328.00 to $84,688.00 DOE - Annual Contract REPORTS TO: Special Education Director LOCATION: Paschal Sherman Indian School, Omak , WA Basic Functions: This is a Non-Exempt position. Incumbent works effectively with students who are academically, socially, and emotionally disabled, as well as parents, staff, and support personnel, to meet educational objectives and devise appropriate programs for each individual student under their care. The Special Education Teacher, under the supervision of the Special Education Director, is responsible for maintaining the learning environment in their classroom on a daily basis and requires flexibility and careful planning and coordination that is generally uncommon for most main-stream classrooms.
