Job Description – PRT ICT Teacher The Primary ICT Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing age-appropriate ICT instruction in alignment with the CBSE curriculum and NEP 2020 guidelines. The role includes introducing foundational coding concepts, Scratch programming, basic Artificial Intelligence (AI) awareness, and age-appropriate modern AI tools to develop students’ computational thinking, creativity, problem-solving skills, and responsible digital citizenship. The teacher will integrate technology across subjects, manage the ICT lab effectively, and support the school’s digital learning initiatives while ensuring a safe, ethical, and engaging technology-enabled learning environment for primary learners. Key Responsibilities – PRT ICT Teacher Plan, prepare, and deliver ICT, coding, and AI-awareness lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and NEP 2020 Introduce foundational programming concepts using Scratch and other block-based coding platforms Create awareness of basic AI concepts and age-appropriate AI tools, promoting ethical and responsible technology use Design and implement hands-on, project-based, and experiential learning activities to develop digital literacy and problem-solving skills Integrate technology and AI tools across subjects in collaboration with class teachers Manage the ICT laboratory, ensuring safe usage, discipline, and maintenance of digital resources Assess student learning through practical tasks, projects, and skill-based evaluations Maintain accurate lesson plans, student records, and assessment documentation as per school and CBSE guidelines Support school initiatives related to digital transformation, innovation, and technology-enabled learning Ensure compliance with cyber safety, data privacy, and child protection policies Participate actively in professional development programmes, training sessions, and school events Why Join Skill Stork International School?
