About the role

Job Description – PRT ICT Teacher The Primary ICT Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing age-appropriate ICT instruction in alignment with the CBSE curriculum and NEP 2020 guidelines. The role includes introducing foundational coding concepts, Scratch programming, basic Artificial Intelligence (AI) awareness, and age-appropriate modern AI tools to develop students’ computational thinking, creativity, problem-solving skills, and responsible digital citizenship. The teacher will integrate technology across subjects, manage the ICT lab effectively, and support the school’s digital learning initiatives while ensuring a safe, ethical, and engaging technology-enabled learning environment for primary learners. Key Responsibilities – PRT ICT Teacher Plan, prepare, and deliver ICT, coding, and AI-awareness lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and NEP 2020 Introduce foundational programming concepts using Scratch and other block-based coding platforms Create awareness of basic AI concepts and age-appropriate AI tools, promoting ethical and responsible technology use Design and implement hands-on, project-based, and experiential learning activities to develop digital literacy and problem-solving skills Integrate technology and AI tools across subjects in collaboration with class teachers Manage the ICT laboratory, ensuring safe usage, discipline, and maintenance of digital resources Assess student learning through practical tasks, projects, and skill-based evaluations Maintain accurate lesson plans, student records, and assessment documentation as per school and CBSE guidelines Support school initiatives related to digital transformation, innovation, and technology-enabled learning Ensure compliance with cyber safety, data privacy, and child protection policies Participate actively in professional development programmes, training sessions, and school events Why Join Skill Stork International School? (Mandatory) Relevant undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications or a related field CBSE training, coding/AI workshops, or ICT pedagogy certifications – Preferred Desired Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of the CBSE primary ICT curriculum, NEP 2020, and digital citizenship guidelines Ability to introduce foundational coding concepts using platforms such as Scratch and other block-based programming tools Basic understanding of AI concepts and the ability to demonstrate age-appropriate AI applications and tools responsibly Proficiency in educational software, digital learning platforms, and classroom technology tools Ability to design hands-on, project-based, and experiential ICT lessons Effective ICT lab and classroom management skills Excellent communication, collaboration, and student engagement abilities Ability to work collaboratively with teachers to integrate technology and AI tools across subjects Commitment to continuous professional development in emerging technologies and digital education Employment Commitment Requirement This is a full-time, on-campus role requiring complete professional commitment Concurrent employment, freelance work, or private tuition during the academic year is not permitted Pursuing any regular academic programme (full-time or part-time) that interferes with school responsibilities is not permissible Candidates must be able to fully dedicate their time, energy, and professional focus to the school and students (Any short-term or online certifications must be disclosed at the time of application) Benefits Benefits Compensation & Benefits Salary is not a constraint for the deserving candidate Free staff child education Support for CBSE professional development and certifications Growth-oriented work culture with long-term career progression Statutory Benefits: Health insurance Leave encashment Life insurance Provident Fund
