Technical Architect

Job Description: Technical Architect Role Overview We are looking for a Technical Architect with 15–20 years of experience to lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-based enterprise solutions, with strong exposure to EdTech/LMS and distributed systems. --- Key Responsibilities · Define and drive end-to-end architecture for enterprise and LMS platforms · Lead system design, microservices architecture, and cloud strategy · Ensure scalability, performance, security, and code quality · Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and clients · Manage multiple projects, ensuring delivery, quality, and timelines · Drive DevOps, CI/CD, and release management practices · Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and problem-solving · Support pre-sales (RFPs, solutions, PoCs) and client engagements · Mentor teams and enforce engineering best practices --- Required Skills · Backend: PHP / Java / Node.js / Python · Frontend: React / Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript · Microservices, REST APIs, system integration · Cloud: AWS / GCP / Azure, Docker, Kubernetes · Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL · Messaging: Kafka / RabbitMQ · LMS experience (e.g., Moodle) preferred · Exposure to AI/ML integrations is a plus --- Profile · Strong architecture, delivery, and stakeholder management experience · Proven ability to lead large teams and multiple programs · Excellent communication and problem-solving skills --- Experience · 15–20 years in software development and architecture · Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering · An ideal candidate would be a hands-on Technical Architect who can guide the team for value delivery Domain Expertise · Experience in EdTech / LMS platforms (highly preferred) · Exposure to Web Commerce, Supply Chain, Telecom, or Transportation domains · Understanding of user experience, content delivery, and digital platforms Leadership & Soft Skills · Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills · Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability · Proven ability to lead large teams and multiple programs simultaneously · Ability to balance technical depth with business priorities Success Metrics · Successful delivery of scalable, high-performing enterprise platforms · Improved system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency · High customer satisfaction and stakeholder alignment · Contribution to business growth through pre-sales and innovation · Strong team capability and engineering maturity About Academian Website: www.academian.com Academian is a carve-out of an existing 22-year IT company – Intraedge Inc ( www.intraedge.com ) Academian is a service, product, and learning development company in the education domain with a current headcount of 500+ team members.
