As a Quality Control Specialist , you’ll help ensure all produce that leaves our warehouse meets the highest standards of freshness and safety. Weekly Incentives Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance 401(k) Plan, Employee Assistance Program Paid Sick Leave, Holidays, and Vacation Employee Discount Program Employee Recognition and Events Quality Control Specialist Job Responsibilities Schedule: Full time , Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 4AM-12:30PM Quality Checks: Remove outdated or noncompliant items, and communicate disposition decisions with Procurement, as well as inspect, grade, and document product quality at all stages using the company’s Q/C app and grading system. Receiving & Verification: Verify and record incoming and returned merchandise to ensure accuracy of counts, sizes, and condition. Discrepancy Reporting: Identify and report nonconforming, poor-quality, or miscounted products to Procurement and supervisors for resolution. Product Control: Follow quarantine, release, and traceability procedures for held or rejected items in compliance with company policy. Data Management: Maintain accurate product and return data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Produce Pro. Food & Workplace Safety: Support a safe, food-safe environment by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Compliance Monitoring: Ensure proper storage according to allergen and organic policies; report and assist with corrective actions. Operational Support: Assist with inbound, in-house, backhaul, and return processes as needed to maintain workflow efficiency.
