Principal Industrial Designer

Playground is seeking a Principal Industrial Designer to join our Palo Alto studio. Our ideal candidate enjoys designing products from a consumer perspective and is passionate about finding the right balance between product and service. Qualifications You have a desire -- a need -- to design products that delight. You are self-motivated and thrive working in a fast-paced environment. You’re able to translate user needs, technical realities, and business goals into the minimal set of features that make products compelling and enjoyable. You recognize that one of the hardest parts of the job is deciding what not to ship. You are focused and detail oriented. You exhibit meticulous craftsmanship in one or more disciplines, and collaborate well with others. In fact, you love collaborating.
