Onshore Operations Supervisor

Principal Accountablities: - Ensure all job pre planning is completed to client/Expro requirements, including QHSE - Liaise with Senior Field Personnel to ensure they are aware of the job/client requirements - Maintain contact with client/drilling/other service companies/third party companies with relation to planning and operations - Participation within Expro weekly on call rota - Select field personnel suitable for required operations and monitor progress, providing day to day supervision of operations personnel (contact point) - Assist in the recruitment of new personnel - Assist in the control (minimise) of direct costs to maximise margins - Provide technical support both internally and externally - Liaise with other regions relating to operations matters - Ensure Operations manager is kept informed of operational matters as required - Participate in the chairing of department safety meetings - Assist in selection of staff for relevant training courses - Perform annual appraisals on Offshore staff, as required for staff progression - Work closely with purchasing department for operational requirements - Work closely with Maintenace Department for equipment selection/availability issues - Ensure Field Staff are inducted and mentored through the competence system - Report any hazardous defects in plant, equipment and workplace, or shortcomings in the existing controls - Ensure relevant procedures and checklist are followed at all times when carrying out specific tasks Criteria: - Well Testing experience is preferred - Detailed knowledge of Well Testing Operations - Organistational/Logistical skills - Self motivation - Good communication skills
