Save the Family Day. When a family’s day on the lake is interrupted by a dead battery, mechanical issue, or breakdown, you’ll be the professional who turns frustration into relief. Marina Holdings is seeking a customer-focused Inland Lakes Operations Captain to provide towing and on-water assistance throughout Maine’s lakes and inland waterways. Requirements Key Responsibilities • Respond to service calls from recreational boaters. • Provide towing and assistance for disabled vessels. • Assist with fuel deliveries, battery issues, and minor troubleshooting. • Safely transport vessels to docks, marinas, and launch facilities. • Educate boaters on safe boating practices and preventative maintenance. • Complete service documentation and reports. • Conduct vessel inspections and maintain equipment readiness. • Deliver exceptional customer service that creates positive experiences for members and guests. Required Qualifications • Valid U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License (required). • Strong recreational boating and vessel-handling experience. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. • CPR and First Aid certification preferred. • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and seasonal schedules. Physical Requirements • Ability to work outdoors throughout the boating season. • Lift and carry up to 75 pounds. • Board, dock, tow, and secure vessels safely. • Bend, climb, kneel, and perform physical tasks associated with marine operations.
