We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 or Band 7 Physiotherapist to join our clients team in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to provide high-quality physiotherapy care and support to patients in the Same Day Emergency Care Unit and across three frailty wards. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the overall well-being of our patients through expert assessment and intervention.

What will your responsibilities be :

As a Band 6 or Band 7 Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing early assessment and intervention to patients in the Same Day Emergency Care Unit to facilitate safe discharge back to their normal place of residence. You will be part of the Frailty Therapy Team, which includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and a Therapy Assistant, working across three frailty wards. This integrated therapy approach allows for comprehensive, generic, and holistic assessments with the aim of delivering the highest standards of patient care. Your role will involve working independently as an autonomous practitioner and with the wider multidisciplinary team, providing specialist assessment and intervention to individuals presenting with a range of physical, cognitive, social, or perceptual deficits that impact functional ability and safety within their home environment. You will ensure a proactive approach to rehabilitation to maintain and improve function and facilitate timely discharges, always thinking 'Home First'.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Proven experience in clinical physiotherapy
  • Strong knowledge of physical, cognitive, social, and perceptual assessment and intervention techniques
  • Experience in early assessment and intervention in emergency care settings
  • Ability to work independently and as par
