Beginner Machinist: ● Computer knowledge… basic understanding of windows file explorer. ● Operate 3 or 4 axis lathes under supervision. ● Seek assistance from the department lead, productions manager, or an experienced machinist on complicated adjustments involving more than just adjusting tool offsets. ● Identify problems and be able to communicate effectively with department lead, productions manager, or an experienced machinist to find a solution.
