Accounts Payable Specialist

We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. What You'll Do As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play an essential role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring vendors, staff, and partners are paid accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include: Process accounts payable invoices and payments accurately and on schedule Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts Prepare and print agency checks, reimbursements, and vendor payments Reconcile monthly credit card statements and vendor accounts Maintain vendor records, including W-9 documentation and tax-exempt information Follow up on outstanding stale-dated checks Assist with grant reporting by compiling invoices and supporting documentation Support purchasing activities for agency departments Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate ordering and distribution Assist with audit preparation, reconciliations, and other accounting projects as needed.
