Sewing Machine Operator III - WS Reports to: Manufacturing Production Supervisor Supervises: N/A Summary Statement: The person in this position operates various machines used in industrial sewing following established work and safety procedures. Essential Job Functions Check all safety devices, assuring they are in place and in working order prior to operating the machine. Prior to sewing, inspect and repair any operations incorrectly done, including unacceptable stitches on materials provided to you. Thread machine and change bobbin as needed. Retrieve/distribute materials as needed. Operate various automatic machines which may include: Single needle operations Double needle operations Two-step automatic machines Bartack operations Serger operations Non-Essential Job Functions Attend training and meetings as scheduled. Perform other duties as apparent or assigned.
