About the role
The Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is Canada’s national professional association and certifying body for medical radiation technologists and therapists. CAMRT serves and supports over 11,000 members nationwide to provide patients with the highest quality of medical imaging and radiation therapy care, ensuring that medical radiation technologists (MRTs) are certified as having the knowledge, skills, and judgment to enter practice. It is an authoritative voice in medical imaging and radiation therapies within the Canadian health system and the wider community and engages internationally as a leader of the profession. This Director is a key member of the leadership team with a focus on building programs that deliver on member growth and retention. In partnership with all departments, this role will enhance member experience and engagement and develop member services that support national and regional priorities. The Director is responsible for ensuring that ongoing measurement and monitoring demonstrates progress in achieving the CAMRT business plan and addresses the needs of the Association’s membership. Membership Management Lead an effective renewal process for members; monitoring the renewals and implementing a program of ongoing communication to optimize retention Contribute to the development and implementation of membership initiatives; bring forward analysis and recommendations on membership needs based on trends, patterns and member satisfaction measures to maximize member satisfaction Evaluate membership services from all sources (e.g. member inquiries and member satisfaction surveys) and make recommendations on changes and/or enhancements to ensure there is a strong perceived value by members for the association Partner with provincial managers in defining regional value that enhances membership Develop member programs that target the different modalities, career stages and practice environments Optimize member categories and create a marketing strategy that builds on value to each group that responds to professional needs Marketing & Business Development Contribute to defining marketing opportunities and strategies to increase the Association’s presence nationally and increase membership Develop and implement strategies that will expand revenue growth Partner with the Communications team to identify opportunities to increase the presence of CAMRT in the profession, in media and public forums Collaborate with CAMRT’s cross-functional teams to promote membership benefits and programs through a variety of communications and outreach initiatives Identify sources of new members; focusing on providing material to promote the benefits of membership to a diverse set of constituents in the medical radiation fields
