ENGINEERING MANAGER

Objective Engineering Manager plans, directs, and coordinates product and manufacturing engineering activities within an engineering project. They need to possess a unique set of skills that combine technical expertise with people management skills. Essential Functions Research and develop designs and products. Determine the need for training and talent development. Hire contractors and build teams. Ensure products have the support of upper management. Provide clear and concise instructions to engineering teams. Lead research and development projects that produce modern designs, products, and processes. Check the team’s work for accuracy. Coordinate work with other managers and staff. Preferred Skills Print and specification reading and interpretation and creation using AutoCAD Inventor. Strong Mechanical aptitude; Process Improvement mindset, Analyzing Information. Verbal Communication; Informing Others, Continual Improvement, Mindfulness, and Thoroughness. Dealing with Complexity; Statistics, Lean workplace, G eneral knowledge of manufacturing and Machining practices.
