We seek a Supply Planning Specialist to work out of our Head Office in Sydney Olympic Park The Benefits • Career development within Bridgestone • 5 days extra leave every year after 2 years of employment • An extra 5 days leave as a one off at each 5-year employment milestone • Health checks / free flu shots • State-of-the-art office with end of journey facilities & free gym • Free parking or 300m from train station • Product discounts on Bridgestone Tyres • Additional benefits & staff discounts The Opportunity • Maintain optimal inventory levels for OTR Tyres through analysis of demand forecasts & inventory movements • Collaborate across the business to enhance inventory management, improve order planning processes, & provide the Sales team with timely & valuable daily reporting to support business performance • Maintain OTR Tyre inventory levels in accordance with Month On Hand (MOH) targets • Work with branches to identify & move slow moving, obsolete & excess stock • Analyse inventory with a view to improving current processes & desired outcomes • Review OTR Tyre orders from Sales teams through relevant data analysis • Keep abreast of new product, substitutions & end of life strategies About You - Essential • Minimum two (2) years of experience in planning of either sales, production or demand • Proven strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret/report data • Advanced Excel skill (e.g. vlookup, pivot tables, sumif, iferror, macros) • Basic knowledge of programming & implementing automation in data analysis • Experience with SAP, PowerBI, & experience/interest in implementation of AI • Ability to consolidate, process & analyse large amounts of data to provide timely as well as meaningful insights & recommendations • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field or demonstrated experience in sales analysis, marketing, or a related role within a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication & presentation skills (verbal and written) • Ability to work under pressure & meet tight deadlines • Strong commitment to the safety of yourself & others • Current work rights in Australia About You – Preferred • Exposure to mining / heavy manufacturing / industrial environments Apply today!
