Primary Objectives of Position: Deliver merchandise to customers in a manner that is timely and most efficient for the company Help achieve the cooperative’s mission and goals Perform outstanding customer service Responsibilities of the Position: Promptly delivery and pick up of merchandise Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues (thorough pre/post trips) and perform preventative maintenance Complete and turn in all driver paperwork (i.e. manifests, shipping papers, HOS logs, etc.) Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Loading and unloading of merchandise Report defects, accidents or violations to manager
