Supply Technician (HAZMAT Coordinator)

ITnova is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Technician (HAZMAT Coordinator) to join our aviation maintenance team supporting mission-critical rotary-wing aircraft operations. This position is responsible for managing hazardous material inventory, storage, tracking, and compliance activities to support safe and efficient maintenance operations. The ideal candidate has experience with HAZMAT management, supply operations, and environmental health and safety requirements, with a strong understanding of inventory control, documentation, and regulatory compliance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring maintenance personnel have the materials needed to support mission readiness while maintaining the highest standards of safety, accountability, and environmental compliance in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manages hazardous material inventory, storage, issue, turn-in, and tracking in support of maintenance operations.
• Ensures compliance with CNAFINST 4790.2, Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements, and hazardous material handling procedures.
• Maintains HAZMAT records, shelf-life controls, issue logs, and related documentation.
• Conducts inspections of hazardous material storage areas and ensures proper labeling, segregation, and accountability.
• Supports maintenance operations by ensuring required materials are available, serviceable, and properly documented.
• Coordinates disposal, turn-in, and replacement of hazardous materials in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
• Provides guidance to maintenance personnel on proper handling, storage, and use of hazardous materials, as required .
• Assists with internal audits, compliance inspections, and corrective action follow-up.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in supply, warehouse, logistics, or hazardous material management; aviation maintenance support experience i s prefer red.
• Knowledge of hazardous material handling, storage, issue, and disposal requirements is required .
• Must be able to maintain accurate records and documentation. <span
