Material Handler- Erie

Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Delivery of Materials a. Ensure the timely delivery of packaging and raw materials to maintain continuous operation of equipment. b. Materials to be staged in the designated area around the appropriate machine in an orderly fashion. c. Load cartons and bags to ensure supply of finished goods cartons. d. Preparation of any special materials that may require manual mixing. 2. Packaging of Finished Goods a. Packaging of finished products and building palletized loads to customers specifications. b. Monitoring and operation of automated packaging equipment to ensure proper performance. c. Applying appropriate labels of packaging slips for product identification. d. Removal of finished goods pallets to warehouse staging area. 3. Handling of Operation Scrap a. Labeling and removal process generated scrap to appropriate area. b. Grinding of plastic components for the purpose of materials reuse. 4. Shop floor Management Participation a. Participate in daily team meeting. b. Contribute / implement ideas to improve operations performances. 5. Other Duties as Assigned a. Perform miscellaneous projects and data collection tasks. Supervisory Responsibilities: n/a
