POSITION SUMMARY: The Superintendent 4 is responsible for field operations on the project(s) assigned in order to achieve safe, timely and profitable completion of each project. This position must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and client service skills. MAJOR DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES: All responsibilities expected of the Superintendent 3 Implementation of Operation Zero and all Manhattan safety policies Participates and executes roles to help create an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring of others Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force Review and approve Trade Contractor Pay Applications and material invoices with the Project Manager Develop and maintain a site logistics plan in coordination with the Project Manager Manage quality program Coordinate site testing and inspection reports Monitor costs, including labor time and material Manage self-perform features of work Manage the CPM schedule and look ahead schedules Development/coordinate/execute Safety, Hazcom, SWPPP, QA/QC plan, etc Attend and lead portions of, if not all of, project meetings, including but not limited to preconstruction, preinstallation, subcontractor, owner, and safety in coordination with the Project Manager Create daily reports and report quantities Assist with the Preconstruction/Estimating phase of the project Mobilizes the site and sets up utilities Assures necessary permits are secured, and inspections occur Reviews and verifies RFIs Reviews and approves submittals for processing Responsible for conducting themselves in accordance with our Guiding Principles and exhibiting attributes matching the Way We Work.
