Membership Advisor

Position: Membership Advisor Classification: At-Will, Full time, Non-Exempt, benefitted position Summary The Membership Advisor ensures consistent, profitable growth in membership sales revenues and corporate outreach through positive planning, deployment and management of sales leads. Areas of Responsibility Ability to communicate effectively about the membership structure of the APJCC to potential members High level of customer first skills Effective time management skills Ability to create a warm and welcoming environment Ability to foster strong relationships amongst both members and staff in a professional manner Experience working with a diverse range of people Sell memberships Establish personal contacts and rapport with top echelon decision-makers Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit Provide information to prospective members, give facility tours, answer phone inquiries and assist new members/guests Attend regular membership & staff meetings Create 4 monthly health & wellness blog posts a month Assist Membership Coordinator with Membership Appreciation Oversee member communication including: alerts, announcements, and fitness newsletters. Must work non-traditional business hours, weekends and evenings, as well as events to meet the needs of the organization
