Maintenance Technician - 1st & 2nd Shift

Perform on demand and preventative maintenance repairs for all guest rooms, kitchen areas and public areas at Chula Vista including the adjacent employee housing buildings. Reports to Maintenance Manager. Repairs may include plumbing, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, and carpentry. Respond to work orders as assigned in and complete them per SOP in property's digital work order system. Makes daily preventative maintenance inspections. Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of HVAC equipment, appliances, elevators, fire alarm system, door lock system, electrical and related systems. Respond and perform duties in a timely and efficient manner. Knowledge of safety requirements is a MUST- operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times. Assist to oversee the property grounds, public areas, and hotel's guest rooms. Display a calm and attentive approach in solving problems and handling difficult situation, collecting information and sincerely helping to resolve them. Determine, communicate, and monitor personal and department achievements and performance standards on a daily basis.
