Restaurant Manager

The historic Eldridge House Grille is seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team in delivering warm, attentive, and memorable dining experiences. Our ideal candidate is a confident communicator, a natural motivator, and a visible presence in the dining room. Restaurant management experience is required for this position. Hourly or Salary based on experience. Key Responsibilities Lead front-of-house operations to uphold the service and quality standards of The Eldridge House Grille. Supervise, train, and develop servers, hosts, and support staff to ensure consistent, refined service. Personally visit every table each shift to engage guests and resolve concerns promptly and graciously. Maintain a polished dining atmosphere through attention to detail, cleanliness, and presentation. Prepare weekly schedules, manage labor costs, and coordinate staff assignments. Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to review specials, 86’d items, and service objectives. Partner with the Chef to communicate menu changes, seasonal offerings, and wine pairings to the team. Ensure compliance with all local health and liquor regulations, including responsible alcohol service. Monitor table flow, reservations (via TOCK), and seating to maximize guest satisfaction and efficiency. Review daily sales and beverage cost reports; assist with inventory and cost-control initiatives. Maintain accurate cash handling and closing procedures. Lead with professionalism, fostering a team culture of respect, accountability, and pride in service.
