Preconstruction Manager

Preload is growing and looking for a Preconstruction Manager (Entry Level or Experienced) to join our team due to a recent promotion of a Preload employee! Our Estimators provide sales support to District Managers during the project development phase and manages the bids for the company to ensure a successful sale of work throughout the United States. The position requires occasional travel to perform site visits to evaluate the scope of work and attend pre-bid meetings. The daily duties and responsibilities of the Preconstruction Manager as follows: Review project Plans and Specifications to define project requirements and determine the required scope of work Develop requests for information (RFI’s) to ensure all questions with respect to project Plans and Specifications have been addressed Develop requests for quotation (RFQs), requests for proposal (RFPs) or Proposals depending on the requirements of the project for use in bid preparation Develop preliminary layouts in AutoCAD for construction site and crane placement evaluation Perform calculations as necessary for complete and through bid preparation Evaluate and provide recommendations to Senior Management on qualifications and pricing of potential subcontractors Work with the Sales and Management Team to formulate a strategy and method for bids in order to assure continued success toward revenue goals Assist in assembling bid packages and proposals for submittal
