Bindery Apprentice

Bindery Apprentice – Core Job Duties: Assist in the setup and operation of bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and related finishing devices Learn to read and follow job ticket instructions to ensure work is completed accurately to specifications Perform quality checks on finished materials to verify trim, fold, and stitch accuracy Support experienced bindery operators with make‑ready, adjustments, and changeovers Stack, bundle, and move printed materials through the bindery workflow Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bindery work area Troubleshoot basic mechanical or production issues and escalate when necessary Work collaboratively with press, bindery, and shipping teams to meet production deadlines Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production schedules
