JOB.TITLE Clerk Grade: 5/6 Annual Salary Range: $102,936 - $113,579 plus superannuation Employment Type: Temporary (up to 3 months), Full-time Location: Darlinghurst, Sydney / Hybrid Be at the centre of supporting executive leadership and people initiatives The Independent Review Office (IRO) is seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Support Officer to provide high-quality executive, administrative and coordination support to senior leaders while contributing to key People and Culture initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing competing priorities, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and operational support. About the role As the Executive Support Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of executive functions and business activities across the organisation. You will provide confidential executive support, coordinate recruitment activities, and contribute to workforce and employee engagement initiatives. Working closely with senior executives and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing business documentation, maintaining records and systems, and supporting the successful delivery of People and Culture programs. What you'll be doing Providing high-quality executive and administrative support to senior leaders. Managing complex diaries, meetings, travel arrangements and correspondence. Preparing presentations, reports, briefing notes, agendas and meeting minutes. Coordinating recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and supporting onboarding processes. Maintaining accurate records, documentation and people management information systems. Supporting workforce planning, employee engagement and capability development initiatives. Assisting with financial administration, reporting and business support activities. Building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and providing responsive customer service. About you To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Experience providing executive, administrative or business support services in a busy environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion. Experience coordinating recruitment or People and Culture activities is highly desirable. Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business systems. A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach to work.
