About the role

About the Role: Our Lady of Grace School (OLOG) is seeking enthusiastic, committed, and adaptable educators to join our team as Temporary Relief Teachers (TRTs). We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and graduate teachers who are passionate about supporting student learning and wellbeing. As a TRT at OLOG, you will play an important role in ensuring continuity of learning by confidently stepping into classrooms across the primary years and providing high-quality teaching in the absence of regular classroom teachers. Key Responsibilities Include: As a Temporary Relief Teacher, you will be expected to: • Confidently work across a range of primary learning environments to maintain continuity of learning • Deliver pre-planned lessons in line with the classroom teacher’s program, learning intentions, and assessment requirements • Support students across Reception to Year 6, promoting engagement and positive learning outcomes • Establish and maintain a focused, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment • Apply school-wide behaviour expectations and respond appropriately to classroom challenges • Supervise students safely, ensuring duty of care in classrooms, playgrounds, transitions, and during scheduled yard duties • Adapt quickly to different year levels and learning contexts to meet the needs of students • Build positive and respectful relationships with students and staff • Contribute positively to student learning and the wider school community About You: The successful applicant will demonstrate: • Strong classroom management skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Flexibility, reliability, and a professional approach • Current teacher registration • A valid Working With Children Check For further information please refer to the Position Description Why OLOG?
