The Challenge 🧩

As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Wallapop, your challenge will be to play a leadership role in designing, developing, and maintaining a complete data infrastructure and make it easily accessible to the entire domain team looking for synergies cross Wallapop to amplify the impact of the data.

What You Will Do 👇

• Lead the design and implementation of data infrastructure, including integrating and consolidating data from multiple sources for advanced analytics.
• Evaluate and select external analytics tools, platforms, and technologies to support advanced analytics capabilities.
• Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards and reports to provide data-driven insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify their data needs and drive scalable data-driven solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior team members.
• Document analytics processes and establish clear practices for analytics tools to ensure long-term team scalability and easy onboarding.

What We’re Looking For 🔎

• Proficiency in Python and SQL, combined with a solid understanding of big data technologies.
• Strong coding skills and the ability to write maintainable, performant code.
• Proven expertise with ETL processes, data integration, and building reliable data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based environments, ideally AWS.
• Experience developing interactive dashboards and data insights using Business Intelligence tools (such as Looker or Tableau).
• Advanced knowledge of data analytics concepts, techniques, and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex data issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to lead and work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish, manage timelines effectively, and deliver high-quality work.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship.
• Experience with project management, including managing timelines, resources, and delivering high-quality work within deadlines
