Nurse Sonographer- Southwest

Responsible for nursing functions, providing patient care, and performing limited medical obstetrical ultrasounds at Prestonwood Pregnancy Center – Southwest (“PPC – SW”). Responsibilities: Work with clinic staff and volunteers to coordinate patient flow Perform limited medical screening and pregnancy tests Perform limited obstetrical ultrasounds in accordance with delegated orders Complete initial patient assessments Assist with patient/family education and instruct patients as directed Maintain patient documentation according to clinic protocol Document and report test results Assist with follow up of patient's medical conditions and test results Collect and run lab tests Incorporate principals of safety in all clinical operations Demonstrate safe use of equipment related to patient care Maintain infection control measures with all patient contact Other duties as assigned
