Tire Specialist

Purpose This position is responsible for repairing and mounting tires and minor repair work such as oil changes. Responsibilities Repairing and mounting tires Minor repair work such as oil changes, etc. Providing excellent customer service Tire sizes range from utility vehicle to cars/pickups/trucks to Ag tires. Work is both in the shop and operating a mobile tire truck. Provide recommendation for sales of additional related or needed tire parts or accessories Assist in keeping department clean and orderly Routinely life items weighing 75 pounds This is position also involves managing the tire inventory and scheduling work and repairs, reporting to the store lead. Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge Experience preferred Basic automotive knowledge Self-motivated Ability to work in a team environment Experience connecting with customers, maintaining a professional image, and establishing rapport Demonstrated basic understanding of the selling processes Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence Ability to lift up to 100 pounds Must be able to drive a forklift for unloading and loading tires Valid Driver’s license with a medical card required for service vehicle
