We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our community committed to delivering outstanding nursing care to our residents. As a Registered Nurse , you will play a n important role in all phases of the nursing service that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. What you'll do:

• Ensure that the individual health care plan is followed; administer or supervise treatments prescribed by physicians.
• Make meaningful rounds of all residents, utilizing health care plans; make rounds with physicians and accurately and timely records visits on charts.
• Administer parenteral, intramuscular and subcutaneous injections; performs in-house testing procedures; takes and records vital signs.
• Assist in maintaining current health care plans according to a schedule rotation and documenting acute episodes or significant changes in resident status.
• Supervise aides in the performance of their duties by monitoring their work; assign aides to residents, specifying break times and special duties to be completed.
• Meet with director as needed and participate in staff meetings to keep staff performing at optimum level.
• Personally receive or place all calls to physician and follow through with physician’s orders timely and accurately.
• Supervise (or personally handle) the preparation and administration of prescribed medications accurately.
