The Role We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler I to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials and supplies while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, and inspect incoming freight manually or using material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Verify shipments for accuracy, quality, and quantity against purchase orders and shipping documentation. Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items. Prepare, package, wrap, and ship materials and supplies according to established procedures. Deliver and retrieve materials from work areas, storage locations, and designated departments. Tag, issue, stock, and organize inventory while maintaining accurate inventory rotation practices. Receive, store, and ship materials, including flammable, caustic, and other hazardous substances, in compliance with safety regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform routine maintenance and care of material handling equipment as needed. Support warehouse and inventory operations by performing other related duties as assigned.
