Summary The Recovery Advocate – Part Time, As Needed (PRN) provides support, encouragement, and guidance to individuals receiving treatment. This role focuses on promoting recovery, maintaining a safe and supportive environment, and helping clients develop the skills necessary to sustain long-term sobriety. Recovery Advocates serve as a positive role model, assists with daily program activities, and helps ensure the safety of clients and children. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Monitor client activities and provide supervision for clients and/or children to ensure adherence to facility rules, schedules, and program expectations. Assist clients with daily living activities and structured programming. Facilitate or co-facilitate recovery-focused groups or meetings when appropriate. Observe and document client behavior, progress, and any concerns in accordance with agency policies. Conduct routine room checks, safety checks, and maintain a clean and safe therapeutic environment. Provide crisis intervention and notify clinical staff of any behavioral or medical concerns immediately. Provide safe, timely, and supervised transportation of clients to offsite activities or appointments, as needed. Document notes and other information in systems including CMBHS and Welligent. Maintain accurate documentation in staff logs, incident reports, facility forms, and/or other required reports, as needed. Perform room searches, as needed, and document these searches in the client record. Attend all required staff training sessions. Monitor visitation for clients, families, and children. Conduct and document urine screenings in CMBHS and Millenium Health systems. Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance and punctuality. Work at least one shift per month. Other duties may be assigned.
