About the role
Position Overview The Jr. Billing cum Costing Engineer – PTB shall support project billing, quantity verification, cost control, budget monitoring, and commercial documentation associated with the Passenger Terminal Building (PTB), associated terminal infrastructure, and airport systems. The role involves measurement verification, processing contractor bills, tracking project costs, maintaining commercial records, and supporting accurate and timely billing and cost management throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and process contractor, consultant, and vendor bills in accordance with contract provisions. Prepare and verify RA bills, payment certificates, invoices, and supporting documentation. Review contractor bills against BOQs, drawings, specifications, measurements, and contract requirements. Maintain billing registers, quantity records, payment trackers, and cost control records. Monitor project expenditure, commitments, variations, and payment status. Track project costs against approved budgets and support cost forecasting activities. Verify quantities, measurements, change orders, variations, and additional cost claims. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams for measurement and billing requirements. Prepare periodic billing, cost control, and commercial reports. Support rate analysis, quantity reconciliation, cost estimation, and budget reviews. Assist in resolving billing, measurement, and commercial discrepancies. Support audits, reconciliations, and commercial reviews. Ensure compliance with contractual, client, and project commercial procedures. Maintain accurate billing, costing, and commercial documentation. Overall 10-15 years of experience in billing, quantity surveying, cost control, project costing, or commercial management. Minimum 5 years of experience in passenger terminals & associated infrastructure, airport systems through EPC or PMC. Experience in contractor billing, budget monitoring, measurement verification, variation management, and contract administration. Good understanding of construction contracts, BOQs, rate analysis, and commercial procedures. Familiarity with project billing systems, quantity reconciliation, and cost reporting tools.
