About Cover Genius Cover Genius is the global infrastructure for embedded protection. Active in over 60 countries and all 50 US States, we protect the customers of the world’s largest digital companies, including Klarna, Revolut, Stripe, Priceline, Agoda, Booking.com, Turkish Airlines, Tongcheng Travel, eBay, and Uber, with seamless, end-to-end experiences. Cover Genius has protected more than 73M customers globally across 240M policies with USD $3.2BN in gross written sales. Coming off a stellar year with 40% YoY revenue growth and a recent $100M capital raise, putting our valuation at $1.9BN, we are accelerating into our next phase of growth. As part of our team, you’ll help drive our AI-first roadmap, developing hyper-personalization engines, agentic distribution, and automated claims infrastructure, while building the scalable technology powering the fast-growing $70B embedded protection market. Our people are: Accountable, customer-obsessed, collaborative, driven Our people are not: Passive, defensive, siloed, hesitant About the Role We're looking for a motivated and analytical GTM Strategy & Operations Intern to support our commercial, product and internal teams. You'll play a key role in helping us build and implement processes, track critical data, and turn that data into actionable insights, with a strong focus on using AI and our existing tools. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, global fintech company and contribute to our strategic growth. Flexible Hybrid Model: We are happy to work with your schedule- ideally you are able to collaborate in the office Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, with flexible start and finish times. Key Responsibilities Build better ways of working: You'll help design new processes, playbooks and AI agents or workflows that become the team's standard way of doing things — not just a one-off fix, but something that sticks. Turn data into decisions: You'll keep our data correct and up to date, then turn it into reports, dashboards, and leadership-ready slides and decks that help leaders see the trends and make smart calls on how we grow. Drive efficiency: You'll help our go-to-market teams move faster and cut out friction — spotting where things are slow or manual, and fixing it directly using tools like HubSpot, Gong, Jira and AI tools. Track projects and OKRs: You'll help maintain project trackers and timelines for cross-functional initiatives, and support quarterly OKR tracking and reporting so teams can see progress at a glance. Be a connector: You'll work with different teams across the company to make sure they have the information and smooth processes they need to be successful, simplifying tasks that take up a lot of time so teams can focus on the bigger picture. What You Will Bring: Drive Operational Excellence & Strategic Growth Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering,…) and available for a 4-8 month internship period. Proven analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and design scalable processes. Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) day to day to work faster and smarter - you experiment with them rather than waiting to be told to. Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite (especially Google Sheets/Excel). Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams. A proactive and curious mindset - you're not afraid to ask questions and dig into problems. Nice to have: Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, or another CRM. A more technical lean- basic SQL, Python, Google Apps Script, or workflow automation experience. What's In For You: Invaluable Experience & Growth Hands-On Experience: You'll gain practical experience in a fast-paced, global fintech environment, working directly on projects that impact our go-to-market strategy and operations. Skill Development: You'll develop valuable skills in the tools actually used in a scaleup business, techniques for process improvement, AI-assisted automation, data management and analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Mentorship and Guidance from Experts: You'll have the unique opportunity to receive mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals who have successfully navigated scale-up strategies and built high-performance teams in the tech and fintech sectors. Exposure to Strategy: You'll get exposure to how a high-growth company develops and executes its go-to-market strategy, understanding the interplay between operations and strategic objectives. Contribution to Growth: You'll see the direct impact of your work on improving efficiency and enabling data-driven decisions that contribute to Cover Genius's growth. Launch Your Career: This internship is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to start a career in consulting, technology, or other high-performance environments, providing a strong foundation of practical skills and strategic understanding. 🤔 Why Cover Genius?
