TOP MAN

BDZ Construction is hiring a Top Man to join our growing team. The basic function of the Top Man is to assist with and provide support to the pipe laying operations of the company and complete these jobs on time and within scope. DUTIES AND TASKS Read and understand plans on a basic level. Use the pipe saw/cutoff saw to mold the pipe on a proficient level. Be able to use all required small hand tools on a proficient level. Other duties assigned as needed in the field. MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE Consistently provides quality support as required by the pipelayer. Must be able to meet production capabilities of the pipelayer. Must make consistent quality cuts and bevels without waste. Follow directions from Foreman and other senior staff.
