The role We are seeking an ambitious, goal-driven Business Development Associate to join our fast-growing team at Evident. In this role you will combine research, strategy and ingenuity to generate high quality sales opportunities for our Sales team, playing a key role in driving our commercial growth. Your contributions will directly support the expansion of our products and services within the banking sector and beyond. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives on autonomy and is eager to use their initiative in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients Plan and execute outbound prospecting campaigns Conduct market research to identify potential clients and growth opportunities Conduct targeted research to identify decision-makers in prospective client companies Secure meetings with prospects for our Sales team and Co-Founders - helping them prepare for these meetings and supporting them during and after with notes and follow-ups Conduct high-level conversations with senior decision makers at prospect companies about Evident’s unique value proposition Manage the inbound process from template creation and maintenance, to management of leads to convert them into sales opportunities Skills At least 6 months of previous experience working in a Business Development or Sales role Proven knowledge and/or experience in researching and generating quality leads, building outbound campaigns and booking sales meetings Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Experience working with CRM systems and lead generation tools Nice to have Experience working in a start-up environment and/or within the financial services industry Experience enhancing and optimising workflows Experience working with HubSpot and Google Sheets Benefits Share options: we offer all employees share options over a 4 year vesting period Holidays: 28 days of holiday + public bank holidays Flexible working: 3-4 days per week in our Central London office, 1-2 days remote Learning & development budget: £1000/year Pension Private health insurance Our commitments to diversity and inclusion Evident is committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion among our workforce, and eliminating all forms of discrimination.
