Our work is grounded in collaboration—across disciplines and with families—to ensure meaningful, functional outcomes for the individuals we support. Our Adult Services program supports individuals ages 22+ in building independence, communication, and life skills, while our Day School programs provide highly individualized educational and therapeutic supports for students with diverse learning needs. Physical Therapist Role Summary The Physical Therapist provides consultative physical therapy services across NLG’s Day School and Adult Services programs. This role is ideal for a PT who enjoys collaboration, program development, and coaching staff while maintaining a consistent daytime schedule. You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists, clinical staff, and the PT Department Supervisor to design, implement, and support individualized PT programming that promotes independence, regulation, and participation across settings. What Physical Therapists Do at NLG Consulting to a full time caseload of 30-35 allocations across day school (students) and adult services (members) Develop PT programs and train teachers, therapists, and clinical staff in implementation Collaborate with clinical teams to develop IEP and DHSP objectives Complete: Triennial and initial evaluations and evaluations requested by families or districts Create or oversee materials for PT programming and coordinate supply ordering Deliver staff trainings related to PT programming Support the PT department in maintaining safe, clean sensory and motor equipment Participate in required meetings, supervision, and interdisciplinary collaboration
