About the role

Claremont Veterinary Hospital

Associate Veterinarian

Claremont Veterinary Hospital | Claremont, CA

Claremont Veterinary Hospital is a well-established small animal general practice serving a loyal and engaged client base in Claremont, CA. We place a strong emphasis on building meaningful relationships between our doctors, patients, and pet caregivers, with a shared goal of supporting long, healthy lives for the pets in our community.

Claremont Veterinary Hospital is a beautiful small animal GP practice with a loyal, long-standing client base. We care deeply about the relationship between doctor, pet, and caregiver.

We also like to laugh a lot, keep things light, and we have three clinic cats (Olivia, Ella, and Peach) whom our team absolutely adores.

We’re looking for a thoughtful, team-oriented veterinarian who values both quality medicine and a positive, collaborative work environment.

Hospital Flow

  • Exams are performed in treatment (highly efficient, team-supported flow)
  • 4–5 technicians supporting when 2 doctors are on

  • Mix of wellness and preventative care, dentistry, and surgery

Facility

  • Beautiful, clean, well-organized hospital layout with many windows in the rooms
  • 4 exam rooms
  • Doctors have their own desk, computer, and phone
  • Large surgical suite with windows to the outside (one-way glass reflectors), 2 tables (1 for dentals, 1 mobile table)
  • Spacious break room, well lit, with visibility into treatment if desired; table, chairs, fridge, microwave, sink
  • Full in-house IDEXX lab + send-out capability
  • In-house + online pharmacy
  • Ultrasound, endoscope, orthopedic equipment

What We’re Looking For

We’re open to both early-career and experienced veterinarians.

  • Full-time or part-time options

New grads: You’ll get strong mentorship in surgery, dentistry, and general practice. We love teaching.

Experienced doctors: We'd love to hear what interests you most and would welcome something new to the team, like acupuncture or orthopedics. Let us know what’s most interesting to you.
