C# Architect

As Senior Software Architect, you will lead the architecture and design effort on a variety of software products in a fast-paced environment. Your role is to design innovative solutions to real market problems. You will work closely with product and marketing managers, and other software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones. Job Responsibilities: Identify the appropriate software architecture based on the requirements and design elements contained in a system specification. Review existing architecture and recommend strategies for refactoring to ensure scalability and performance. Mentor developers in software development best practices. Maintain and evolve software architecture documents based on evolving system requirements and industry trends and technologies. Analyze risk and report problems in meeting system requirements. Provide supporting information to the Engineers to aid in the creation of a system specification. Assist Software Designer/Implementers with the creation of detailed software design specifications. Lead the review process for software architecture documents. Perform software version control and maintain periodic compilation schedule. Participate in the system specification review process to ensure system requirements can be translated into valid software architecture. Analyze and implement new functionality using ASP.NET MVC framework. Participate in frequent code reviews Candidate should have the following minimum requirements: Minimum 5 years Microsoft .NET development experience Demonstrated expertise in WCF architecture and design Ability to demonstrate proficiency in ASP.NET and Web API Ability to demonstrate proficiency in C#, and MVC Familiarity with Entity Framework Ability to demonstrate proficiency in .NET 4 Task-based Asynchronous Pattern (TAP) Familiarity with database programming and design best practices with an emphasis on MySQL. Experience working in a fast-paced Agile Production environment with rapid release cycles is a plus. Experience in designing SaaS, PaaS models is a plus. Experience in refactoring within a legacy system is a plus. Experience in Enterprise level high-performance and scalable systems.
