Sheet Metal Mechanic II

SUMMARY This occupation requires the set up and operation of various precision sheet metal equipment. To fabricate sheet metal assemblies, detail assemblies and parts of light gauge material. The types of material include: all grade aluminum, stainless steel, cold roll steel (Approximately .010 to .250 thick). This occupation requires moderate physical exertion including lifting, bending and considerable time standing. RESPONSIBILITIES Able to perform setups and operate various sheet metal related equipment. Able to read and interpret blueprints. Able to run a job from start to finish and be responsible for own first article. Able to work in development of first run parts and assemblies. Knowledge of math and trigonometry. Perform all other duties as assigned or directed. Able to use precision tools and hand tools. This role is required to be on-site 4 days at the El Cajon, CA location.
