Senior Data Analyst

As business transformer, responsible for statistical analysis, identification of data issues and validation of data integrity. Ability to understand how data drives the development of applications and business requirements through appropriate designs principles, methodologies and tools. Key Responsibilities: Creates detailed design documentation with respect to the data requirements Maintains Data Integrity Define data quality plans to address data quality issues Design and Implement Big Data solutions Essential Skills: College degree, or specialized training or equivalent work experience in data management Typically requires over 5 years of relevant work experience Exposure to the insurance or financial sector from a data management perspective CBIP or other certification preferred Expertise in data analysis methodologies and processes Experience with integration efforts (packaged and customized applications) from a data analysis perspective (e.g. ETL, data interface design & standardization, metadata management, BRE,etc) Expertise in various modeling techniques such as process, enterprise data modeling, conceptual modeling, logical modeling, object modeling, dimensional modeling, etc Participation in data analysis efforts for multiple projects and programs of different size and complexity Experience in working with business users to gather data requirements Experience in various data requirements elicitation, analysis and validation techniques Experience working with structured development lifecycles and CMMi Level 3+ organizations Experience in adopting DAMA-DMBOK Experience in managing Party Master Data ( e.g. Customer Master Data ) in Operational Data Store Experience in typical insurance data model and exposure to business capability model Familiarity with data analysis artefacts and tools Experience in business transformation and providing analytical insights Experience working with off-shore data center Experience working with Agile/Iterative methodologies/approaches Familiarity with applied mathematics and machine learning Proficiency with R / Python, or other tools, keeping up with the Big Data technology and trend proactively Ability to work autonomously on PoC, to use the Sandbox mode or to overtake model maintenance and monitoring
