Director of Operational Accounting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Operational Accounting based in United States. This is a senior finance leadership opportunity overseeing the strategy and execution of global transactional accounting operations. You will lead teams across Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Order-to-Cash functions. The role combines operational excellence with systems transformation, automation, governance, and internal controls. You will partner closely with Finance, Procurement, HR, Revenue Operations, Commercial Finance, and other business leaders. A major focus will be building scalable processes, strengthening audit readiness, and improving financial accuracy and efficiency. You will also shape the technology roadmap across ERP, billing, payroll, payment, and spend management platforms. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting leader who thrives in high-growth, globally distributed environments and enjoys transforming complex operations.
