Fleet Technician I

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and skilled repairs on gasoline, diesel, alternative fuel vehicles, construction equipment, and small engine equipment. Complete fabrication and welding projects, as well as component replacement and adjustments to ensure safe and reliable equipment operation. Diagnose, repair, and rebuild engines, braking systems, suspension, electrical systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, air conditioning, and other vehicle components. Respond to roadside service calls to perform emergency repairs, including jump-starts, flat tire replacement, and other field maintenance as needed.
